ABOUT NANA FUNK
Nana Funk is a Cabaret and Burlesque performer who shows that being awesome transcends age. Nana's mission is to challenge ageism, how we're perceived as we get old & fight against being told that we should focus on "stopping the clock". My fight to encourage discussion about a healthy approach to getting old so we can prepare properly for it is interspersed with a fair amount of body positivity and bringing joy to all around.
Since 2013, Nana has been entertaining audiences all over the UK. Her creator, Angie Waller has performed all over the world since 1994.
Nana Funk brings together Burlesque, Improvisation, Clowning and Music to create her own versatile and unique style. She can also design personalised acts and songs for every occasion.
Nana is also an experienced events host. With her strong Improvisation skills she can handle any situation!

HOSTING
Whether a small private function or a large scale event you’re in great hands with Nana as your host. With an improvising background she has all eventualities in hand and can entertain your guests even if all is crashing down around her. She can also be as family friendly (or not) as your event calls for.

BURLESQUE
Nana doesn't let age stop her doing anything, certainly not Burlesque. Tutored by award winning Mimi Amore, Nana creates cheeky, tongue in cheek Burlesque routines for every occasion.

Nana loves meeting new people and can chat to all ages, putting them at ease whilst making them laugh. Her Improvising and Clowning skills shine through and she is a fantastic for addition to any event.
