I’m looking forward to hitting the highlands once more at Belladrum Festival with the fabulous Birdcage Stage. It’s always a weekend of music, laughing and silliness.
Over the years, Belladrum has grown in popularity and now attracts thousands of visitors each year. The festival has become synonymous with its picturesque location, eccentric atmosphere, and musical diversity, firmly establishing itself as a staple of Scotland's festival scene.
The Birdcage Stage is a versatile performance space, ideal for festivals, street theatre and corporate events. The team of experienced entertainers and associate artists includes aerial performers, makers, live bands, street theatre, and comedy acts, who create high impact visual spectacle that always draws a crowd.

Shambala Festival
I’m back at my spiritual home, Shambala Festival for the umpteenth time. And this year, not only am I with my Headstrung Puppets family hosting Nana’s Variety Pack in the Puppet Pool, but I’ll also be gracing the stage of Compass. I CAN’T WAIT!!
For over 25 years, Shambala has been the UK’s fiercely independent, seriously silly, wildly creative and radically sustainable festival.
The Puppet Parlour! Home to music, laughter, poetry, drama, explosions and a whole lot of mayhem – this is a world where puppets pull the strings.
At Compass, expect kids cabaret and family rave-ups, aerial circus swooping overhead, and genre-smashing bands & DJs, all delivered with a distinctly theatrical, unmistakably silly, Compassy twist.
Headstrung provide one of a kind puppet based entertainment for both adults and children. From saucy puppet cabaret to loveable dancing beasts, Headstrung specialise in entertaining audiences young and old.

The time has come for Nana to get intimate. She’s sick of stadium life & is now touring to smaller venues so she can get up close & personal with her army of fans. She’s got a bee in her bonnet & wants you to get on it.

Bearcat Gumbo are an all-female jazz band bringing the golden era of jazz to life. Formed in
2021, they weave sultry vocal harmonies with playful improvisation to make their own
arrangements of those early popular dance tunes and throw in a few originals songs to keep
things spicy.
Regulars around the North West music scene these talented musicians will be bringing their
lush vocal harmonies, double bass, piano, sax, clarinet and washboard to have a chat, sing
some songs and have a good old knees up!
